Heather Moran is currently serving the students and families of Logan Township as the Principal of Logan Middle School. She arrived in Logan Township for the 2012 – 13 academic year and has been an integral part of many positive changes in the district including significant increases in student achievement, a change from professional development to professional learning, improvements in the area of climate and culture for adults and students, and attention to equity issues including participation in a grant sponsored by the United States Department of Education.
Outside of Logan Township, Heather has served as a member of the Foundation for Educational Administration (FEA) board and as President of the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association (NJPSA). Additionally, she has been a member of a development and presentation team for New Jersey Leadership Academy (NJLA). NJLA is a joint venture between NJPSA and the New Jersey Association for School Administrators serving the needs of educational leaders across the state. These experiences, plus her involvement with the Learning Forward Academy Class of 18, have allowed her to grow as an educator and a leader. Her staff and community in Logan Township have been the beneficiaries of the knowledge she has gained.
