Teacher, Englewood School District

Jennifer has been teaching in the Englewood Public School District for 15 years. She began teaching first grade, taught second grade for a few years, and has spent the majority of her career teaching third grade. Jennifer has served on District Professional Development, Mentoring, Evaluation, and SCIP Committees, as well as a Representative for the Englewood Teacher’s Association.


Jennifer has facilitated professional learning on a variety of topics, including technology as a teaching and learning tool, co-teaching, professional learning standards, and pre-service tips for teachers entering the profession. She is the Chairperson of the New Jersey Department of Education State Professional Learning Committee, a Member of the Partnership for Professional Learning, and Chairperson of the Professional Development Committee for the New Jersey Education Association.


Currently, Jennifer is the Membership Chairperson for Learning Forward NJ. She is also an Officer in the Bergen County Education Association, a Communications Consultant for NJEA, and an Officer in the NJEA Professional Consultants’ Association.  She also attended the National Education Association Northeast Organizing Institute and Learning Forward national conferences.


Her passions are student-centered education, teaching, learning, and leadership. She resides in New Milford with her fiancé, son, daughter, and two cats.
